If you use Facebook, do you really need FriendFeed?
Something really interesting has happened as Facebook has refined how we can control our view of others' feeds and how we can contribute to our own feed through an endless number of online services... I really don't give a crap about FriendFeed.
Does anyone really need a separate service like FriendFeed if Facebook does nearly the same thing within a service that a lot of us are using already, and they offer compatibilities with certain sites sometimes much faster than they'll become functional on FriendFeed (Viddler, Livestrong, I like the way Facebook does Brightkite better)?
I just don't get FriendFeed anymore, when I can already see everyone's microblogging on either Twitter, Brightkite or Facebook, and everything else is quickly becoming easily integrated with Facebook. If you happen to be part of the internet population that uses Facebook, why use both?
(Ps. This is a short post to ask my FriendFeed-confuzzled question and also to try out Posterous for the first time. Trying to figure out how to do links... We'll see how this goes. Not sure if I can post-date an entry...)
